The beach and the neighbourhood
Kamaole Beach Park III is across the street, with a grassy park, lifeguards and good swimming. Keawakapu Beach, a long, quiet stretch of sand that's popular for sunset walks, is a short walk south. Wailea's shops and restaurants are a few minutes' drive away, and Kihei's cafes, grocery stores and snorkel rentals are close by. From December to April, humpback whales are often seen offshore.
Getting to Maui Kamaole
Maui Kamaole is about a 30-minute drive from Kahului Airport (OGG). Most guests rent a car. Seasonal nonstop flights to Kahului run from Vancouver, and in season also from Calgary and Edmonton. Schedules change, so check with the airline.

They're neighbours on South Kihei Road and both face Kamaole Beach III. Maui Kamaole is spread over more open grounds with two pools. Kamaole Sands has larger buildings around a central pool area and offers some three bedroom units.
